When we were given the task of transforming Michaelmas, a 1980s conventional bungalow but set in a beautiful rural setting, into a modern contemporary retreat we were excited. Walls were removed, 2 bedrooms became 3, all now with their own ensuites, a modern open kitchen was added… and this once tired house was now the perfect space for modern country living ..
